As you guys all know, we'll be having self- practice on Monday and Wednesday for the nearing SYF. So, for tomorrow, we'll be practicing Scene 4.

Just some stuff I have to tell you guys:

• Edusave Forms
  I have the edusave forms regarding the payment of Instructor fees to our Drama Instructor, Mdm. Suping. As not all of you (as in still got some GUAI ones lah) have been constantly going to Drama trainings every now and then (not because you are naughty, but that some of the scenes may not need you people), I have not been able to give out all the Edusave to all of you, so only SOME of you guys have the forms.
  For those who do not have the form, please come and find me to get the form. I am Lim Yen from class 4 Integrity. Please come and find me whenever you are free, as this Edusave form is really important.
  And for those who already have the forms, please sign it and return to me ASAP.

• SYF Details
  Venue: Catholic Junior College (around the Whitley Road area)
  Date: 09 April 2009
  Time: 2:30pm to 3:00pm (It's a 20 minute play, but of course the 10 minutes are for preparation - entering and exiting the stage. BUT we of course have to be there like really early to rehearse a bit and stuff, so the timing should be much earlier than 2:30pm, and we are not confirmed what the earlier timing is yet)

Okay that's everything I have to tell you guys. Joey, I will be the blocking that Mdm. Suping gave for Electra when you wen off on Thursday, just a few bits about what to do.
Mrs. Koh, (in case you are reading this), for the costumes, Mdm. Suping said there is no more time and not enough money to send the designs to the costume lady, Ms. Lynn, already. So she said not to send to her. So for now, Mdm. Suping hasen't said what to do yet, except the contact with The Neccessary Stage people for the cloths (??). So, yeah. :x

Okay, BYE PEOPLE! See you during REHEARSALS!!! Jiayou for SYF, behave properly ah, don't make Mdm. Suping angry again okay!?!?!?! :D

Hey guys. Joey here. This is regarding CCA last Thursday.I'm not sure if Kerrie ask those who attended then to check the blog.. But anyway, as you all know last thursday practice didn't go very well.  Simply cos people wasn't co-operating. I'm about to burst now.. so I'm just gonna say whatever is on my mind..

Okay LOOK people, open your eyeballs and look at the calendar and mark out 9th APRIL 2009.That's 47 days and there's less than 10 sessions before we go to the actual venue to rehearse. In case you guys don't know, WHEN WE ARE REHEARSING THERE, WE SHOULD BE 80% TO 90% READY. Now we're barely 10%.People, SYF is a COMPETITION. It means a lot to the Drama Club. Seriously, who doesn't want to win. But how can we win when we joke and laugh and not work hard during practices? I'm not saying we can't joke and laugh. But you guys are going overboard. Some don't attend, some just play a fool. 

Those who didn't attend last practice (namely Yong Xuan, Joey Wong, Chester) : 

You people are just.. I don't want to say it. You guys audition for the character and when you get your role you just run off and don't come for practices? Oh please, if you didn't want to attend den don't audition. Now don't give the excuse that you didn't know its your scene. We already said we would post it on the blog. Let's just imagine you didn't have the time you check, but did you take the initiative to ask anyone? teachers, Drama Committee? Its not as if we didn't inform you. You guys are in Secondary school. Please be more responsible. You people jolly well look for me or Kerrie before the next practice and tell us why you weren't at the practice.

Those who were there:

The cast for this play is very big. And every single on of you have specific movements you have to do, specific positions you have to stand. Yet, there is only ONE  Ms Su-Ping. It is not easy for her to talk when other people are talking. When you talk, you are not listening and the person you're talking to can't be listening.So, DON'T TALK. Do you realize we use to have breaks. Now we don't.EVER THOUGHT WHY? because we're not doing a good job and we don't have enough time. When you talk, Ms Su-Ping has to stop. When you laugh, she has to stop again. And i can tell you, half of the time during practice, Ms Su-Ping is either scolding you guys or waiting for you guys to stop talking. Like mentioned above, we don't have time. its 5 weeks to SYF everyone. 5 weeks and we only have 2 practices every week. We are running behind time.

SO WAKE UP PEOPLE !

Practice is suppose to be fun. But you guys are making it full of scoldings and the practice seems wasted.

I don't want to make this too draggy. So, i talk to all of you again during the next practice on Tuesday.

Mdm Tay, our previous Teacher-In- Charge for Drama Club wold like to speak to ALL DRAMA CLUB MEMBERS on Tuesday (24/February/2009). The Drama Committee would also like to talk to all of you too. So, meet us at the I&E Studio at 1430 SHARP. You guys have 45 mins after school to have lunch. That should be sufficient. & We'll be doing Scenes 4 and 5 after the meeting with Mdm Tay.

HOMEWORK OVER THE WEEKEND

1. Reflect upon what you did last Thursday.

2. Memorise your lines from all the scenes Ms Su-Ping has gone through with us. I don't think we should be holding our scripts so much during practice. BUT STILL, bring it.

3. Spread the information about the meeting at 1425 sharp on 24/2/2009 (Tuesday). And Scenes 4 & 5 for drama training.
